About

Ever since the invention of the wheel around 3500 BC, man has been constantly in the race to improve his mode of transportation. In early days, transport of stuff was the main point, but with the passage of time, the man got concerned about his own comfort…after a long journey, he came to the idea of modern automobiles.
Today’s modern automobiles al called cars have a great deal of luxury ranging from supercharged engines to hand-stitched leather seats.
In this article, we’ll talk about the engines used to cause the car to move. The first engine was made by Karl Benz, in Germany, in early 1870’s. All of them in service today employ the internal combustion engine.
An internal combustion engine (ICE) is a heat engine in which the combustion of the fuel takes place with the help of an oxidizer, usually air, inside a  chamber called the combustion chamber(an integral part of the working fluid flow circuit). In such engines, high-temperature and high-pressure gases expand due to the combustion and them direct force onto some component of the engine. The force is applied normally to pistonsturbine blades or a rotor. This force causes the component to move over some distance, thereby transforming chemical energy into useful mechanical energy.

The first successful (commercial) ICE was created by Étienne Lenoir around 1859 and the first modern internal combustion engine was created in 1876 by Nikolaus Otto.

This blog will cover all the information you need to know about cars, bikes etc.
